Looks very very slick. Have you bought it yet? If so, how is it compared to the last generation?

Its all voice control, what else can I say. It makes things so much easier, controlling everything by just saying it.

The video does look very good. I was wondering how to integrate this with FS passengers, AES and Radar Contact 4?

I don't have AES or FSP but I use it with RC4, it should work fine with any addon though. ******edit It does work with AES, there is a button you can select on one of the screens "AES either YES or No" |

Warning: FS2CREW VOICE COMMAND IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!! Use of this program can lead to hopeless addiction to Level D 767 with Voice Command. FS2Crew should only be used by mature adults that are willing to lay out of work irresponsably for days at a time, while flying long hauls. Seriously LD767 is the most natural and smooth flowing version of Voice Command that has been released. It adds so much to the simulation that you won't want to fly without it. I'm having a lot of fun with it and it works great.

Hi guys, I bought it last week and i have to say its not going so well for me. Im running XP and the voice recognition is not working well at all. Must say i dont really understand it because the first flight was pretty much perfect yet from my second flight, it pretty much stopped recognising what i was saying, and no matter what i do i just cant get it working consistently again.. Im getting support as we speak, but at this point im considering reverting back to the button driven version as i cant really fly with it like this. Is anyone else running it with XP?
Cheers, Tom |

I run it on W7, but I understand that with XP you have to do a LOT of voice training.

Hmmm, so do you ever have any issues with the recognition with W7? Perhaps i should consider upgrading. I wonder what the logistics of installing it would be. Would i have to start with a clean slate OS and reinstall everything? And what kind of hardware specs are required? Basically im running: NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 GPU Would that cut it? Thanks for any advice.

You would want to back up all your files to an external harddrive of other computer, but I believe you can do either a clean install or slide it in your existing install.
You should Google "installing Windows7". I'm sure there is a lot of information. It will run on any PC, but you will want to install the 32bit version of the home edition since your computer is not high end. Definitely, W7 has a way better voice recognition, but that is just the beginning of the benefits of upgrading. It is a very stable OS. |

I have found that it is a lot easier to start the engines with this product.
Only problem I have is that you can't have anyone talking to you and no other noise in the background. I still have not been able to get the soft mute to work, I'll post on their forum.

Hi, I installed the wingelt Version and now FSCrew doesn´t work for the winglet-Version, only in the normal version of the 767. What can I do?

What voiced command program is used for fs2crew? I have anold product called Voice Commander2 that I use for FSX in Vista. It is OK, but only recongizes 1-2 word strings. It works well with default FSX ATC. Are there any drawbacks with FPS when using FS2crew? I am pushing the limit on my Dell H2C quad core and can't afford a hit in FPS.

Hello, FS2Crew Voice Command is the voice command program. You don't need any other program (except the flight sim and Level D 767) to make it work.
FS2Crew recognizes your command when you use the very natural formats clearly given in the manual, and responds perfectly. Basically you are saying the checklists and commands that would be used on an actual 767 flight and your FS2Crew first officer responds. I have never noticed any effects on FPS. This is one of the best made software utility programs made and Bryan York, the developer of FS2Crew, gives some of the best product support in this market.

Why 32 bit, his system will run the 64bit OS just fine. Also if hardware is upgraded what then, fork out more bucks to upgrade to a 64bit OS ? I use to run W7 64 with a similar set up and ran fine, FSX included. Please be sure about what you post is accurate and researched, as that can leave the recipient of your advice down the wrong path and out of pocket. ![]() Depending how you purchase W7, you can get both versions in one, but I think OEM is either 32 0r 64. Where I live anyway. |

Welcome. Are you asking about the 767 or the FS2Crew Voice Commander?
For the 767, it really depends on which FS version you intend to run. The 767 for FS9 runs nicely on a decidely underpowered system. A single core processor with 2G of ram and a 512 video card. The 767 for FSX runs nicely on a dual core system. That's what I am running. Windows 7 x64, 4G Ram, 512 video card.
